 The Hurricane is a biographical film directed by Norman Jewison, 1999.  The film is about a middleweight boxer Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, whose conviction for triple murder was set aside after he spent 20 years in jail.

It won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture.
